Interesting fact… Bladnoch 10 Year Old Lightly Peated whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Bladnoch 10 Year Old Lightly Peated whiskey, instead of whisky.

Bladnoch 10 Light Peat Bottling Note

A lovely little whisky, made unusual by the fact that Lowland malts are very rarely peated. The result is Bladnoch's house style of gently malty, floral spirit, with a tinge of smoky complexity.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Fruit-led nose with notes of ripe fruits, a hint of grape peel and honey. Cashew nuts and just a touch of apple juice.

Palate: Tangy with gently smoked peels (if such a thing could exist). Hazelnut and cocoa (Nutella), and a little cedar.

Finish: Good length with notes of malt and cinnamon.
