Interesting fact… Black Bull 12 Year Old (Duncan Taylor) whisky spells its name whisky as it originates in Scotland. Had it been produced in America its name would be Black Bull 12 Year Old (Duncan Taylor) whiskey, instead of whisky.
Nose: Sweetness, cereals, berry fruits, nutty, tangy, spices, cocoa.
Palate: Thick and rounded. Nutty and soft with orchard fruits and cream.
Finish: Thick and fruity, hint of under-ripe fruits now, creamy.
This is a particularly good blend - bottled at 50%abv so maybe a wee touch of water to open things up. Has won a fair number of awards recently - I can see why.

Forgot to rate this......it's an age thing.
Bought a bottle of this from that taste of Grampian 2012, saving it for a special occasion, can't wait to crack the bottle open! The taster was amazing, I've forgotten just how good though!
