The Origins series from Benromach was released to demonstrate the affects of various production processes. Distilled in 1999, Batch 1 is distilled from Golden Promise barley grown locally in Speyside.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sherry, buttery notes of malt, Irish soda bread.

Palate: Sultanas, malt. Peat with a development of Muscovado, trailing smoke with vanilla spice.

Finish: Retains that Muscovado with juicy abandon.
