Benrinnes Managers Choice
Bottling Note
Released in 2010, this 12 year old Benrinnes is the first ever official single cask whisky from the distillery, bottled as part of the Managers Choice range. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in March 2009, there are 324 bottles of this stuff, drawn from cask 8994.

Nose: A fruity, sweet nose with notes of fresh apple blossom, vanilla cream, chamomile and a little rose petal jelly. Quite oily too, though all very light.
Palate: Tropical fruits on the palate, and plenty of apple and pineapple notes coat the tongue, with coconut milk, sweet, gripping oak, a little allspice and nutmeg.
Finish: A good, medium length finish with cinnamon and lemon drizzle cake.
