Bottled at the higher strength of 46%abv (as opposed to previous Connoisseurs Choice bottlings) this is a 1997 vintage BenRiach, bottled by Gordon and MacPhail in 2012.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sweet spices and biscuity malt. A touch of ground almond and juicy sultanas.

Palate: Corinth raisins and dried fruit. Mixed peels, hints of cocoa butter, black pepper and sherried peels.

Finish: Malty, spicy finish.
