Insider knowledge: Bennachie 21 Year Old whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Bennachie 21 Year Old whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Fragrant, potpourri, fudge and pepper.
Palate: A little tropical fruit character, creamy vanilla.
Finish: Honey and oak.
Too late I found out there was only a small supply in the Netherlands. It's a great whisky for introducing Scottish whisky to women and jenever lovers. I myself am more into Irish whiskey but love the Bennache.
