What's in a name? Bennachie 21 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bennachie 21 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Fragrant, potpourri, fudge and pepper.
Palate: A little tropical fruit character, creamy vanilla.
Finish: Honey and oak.
I drank 3 bottles in three days and on the fourth day I thought I would have a sore heid but there was nae sair heids in Bennachie
THE ABOVE IS MY STATEMENT ON THE WHISKY AT BENNECHIE
Too late I found out there was only a small supply in the Netherlands. It's a great whisky for introducing Scottish whisky to women and jenever lovers. I myself am more into Irish whiskey but love the Bennache.
