What's in a name? Bennachie 17 Year Old whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Bennachie 17 Year Old whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Quite crisp and gentle with freshly cut fruits and gratings of orange peels. Sweet barley malt too.
Palate: Medium. Smooth, round fruity, honeyed notes.
Finish: Medium with developing oak.
A REALLY SPECIAL DRINK IF ONLY SOMEONE HAD SOME LEFT

A friend brought some from Scotland. Got me started in drinking Scotch and I am sorry to see they are discontinued. I will never again have a drink as good again.
