Insider knowledge: Nevis Dew Blue Label Blend whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Nevis Dew Blue Label Blend whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
Nose: Strong and worthy of a good swirl to release the big vanilla aromas.
Palate: Lots of herbs and the vanilla vying for supremacy.
Finish: Slightly shorter than expected, but very nice while it lasts.
This was bought for me by a relative touring the lochs in Scotland. It's a really lovely blend, smooth on the palate, hints of caramel sweetness with a slight smoky aftertaste. Considering how cheap it is on this website it's well worth the price.
