Ben Nevis 19 Bottling Note

This was distilled at the Ben Nevis distillery on the 3rd July 1992, and it was matured in sherry butt number 2305 for 19 years before bottling on the 22nd October 2011 at natural cask strength in a very handsome decanter. A release of 713 numbered bottles by Signatory.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Rich and punchy with notes of rancio, sherried peels, stewed fruits, walnuts in syrup, warm pastries and berry fruits.

Palate: Oily and rich, quite spicy with notes of ginger, sultanas and oak. A little calves leather, marmalade and strawberries.

Finish: Good length with notes of oak, mixed nuts, espresso and syrup.
