The 2001 vintage of Balblair comes as a replacement for the 2000 edition. This is spicy, fruity and full of malty sweetness, and a classic Highland dram!

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: A fresh, malty nose with oodles of tangy citrus zest and lemon. Hints of thyme, honey, peels, blackberries and oak.

Palate: Big and spicy, lots of malty sweetness, lemon, tangerine peel, acacia honey and pepper.

Finish: Cocoa, malt and cinnamon.

Nose: Grassy notes, accompanied with fresh fruits – pears. Spice. A little bit prickly, the alcohol is a bit too overpowering, but this is remedied with a few drops of water, which improves the nose. The fresh fruits and grassy notes show up again in the taste, vanilla, sweet malt and spice linger in the finish. A nice dram.
