Auchentoshan 13YO 1997 Bottling Note

13 Year Old Auchentoshan distilled in December of 1997, this was aged in a single refill hogshead before bottling in January of 2011 for Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Custard apples and nutmeg, notes of praline, cappuccino and rhubarb crumble. Prune and plum jam.

Palate: Dark fruit, crème caramel, malt and oak. Cedar wood, a little pipe tobacco.

Finish: Medium length, tangerine and spice.
