Auchentoshan 1978 Bottling Note
A recently released bourbon cask matured Auchentoshan, distilled in 1978, matured for 30 years and bottled at cask strength in 2009 as part of a release of 480 bottles.
The Number One Toshan!
While this bottle is obviously rather expensive, I daresay it's the quintessential bourbon matured whisky from this distillery and worth every penny. I had the luck of tasting this when visiting the distillery back in September 2010 and rank this one undisputed as my number one Toshan!
