Arran Machrie Moor #3 Bottling Note

Distilled in 2004, this is a very interesting whisky from the Isle of Arran. Unusually for the distillery, this was distilled from peated malt, with a peating level of 14PPM. This is the third batch.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Dried grass, custard and hints of cocoa. A little coconut, with allspice and soft smoke.

Palate: Dusty, sooty palate with hints of smoke and barbecue sauce. Hickory, cedar and biscuity malt. Very fruity.

Finish: Fruity, spiced finish. Aniseed and charred oak.
