Insider knowledge: Arran 17 Year Old 1996 (cask 9983) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whisky is named whisky by virtue of the fact it's from Scotland. If distilled in America the spelling would be Arran 17 Year Old 1996 (cask 9983) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whiskey, as opposed to whisky.
The finish of this goes on longer than the London Marathon. Light in colour, the nose if fruity and coastal. A slight salty taste upon 1st sip, but this really gets better with every mouthful. Excellent!
