What's in a name? Arran 17 Year Old 1996 (cask 9983) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Arran 17 Year Old 1996 (cask 9983) - Old Particular (Douglas Laing) whiskey, rather than whisky.
The finish of this goes on longer than the London Marathon. Light in colour, the nose if fruity and coastal. A slight salty taste upon 1st sip, but this really gets better with every mouthful. Excellent!
