What's in a name? Arran 100 Proof whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Arran 100 Proof whiskey, rather than whisky.
Nose: Weighty. Superb delivery of malted barley and toffee-apple.
Palate: Offers sugared barley, toffee and cooked fruit. Hints of latte as it climaxes.
Finish: Barley still abounds and the coffee notes carry well as the tail dries with oak.
