Aberlour a'Bunadh Batch 38

Just about to buy my partner his second bottle. Bought the first as a birthday present and he has requested another bottle! He gave it a 10 out of 10

Very bold sweet flavor. I crave this after an especially good dinner. It's very strong, 60.3% so it needs water and time to open up... but when it does it's wonderful. It's rich and creamy so it makes a great dessert drink.

This bottle will get you blootered

Having shared a bottle over the past few weeks with many appreciative Malt Whisky drinkers, who also classed this whisky as outstanding I am now ordering two more bottles.I have also been impressed by the superb service, and the packing of these precious nectars by Masters of Malt.

Although I'm not a big fun of sweet(ish) Whiskies, this is one of my favourite, in the "under £60" category. Truly one of the best value for money every-day Whisky!

On to my third bottle, the multiplicity of flavours within this supurb whisky are beyond desciption, and my friends all agree. Well worth trying.

Only bought a dram of this to try and it's now on my buy list. Very nice dram in Aberlour's distinctive style, I was intrigued as to how the high abv would affect the taste but it seems to enhance it.

Both times that I offered this at tastings it's been hands down the favorite. Interestingly, none of us liked it as much with water in it. I prefer peated scotches, but this one shows why we need to keep an open mind. One of the best experiences this side of heaven.

To all you lovers of great Scotch Whiskey out there, Aberlour A'Bunadh is one of my top picks for great flavour, and smooth taste after the first bite taste. It is such a shame that I did not discover this Scotch sooner. I now have stage 4 metastatic melanoma cancer that is not curable and I will be missing out on years of great Scotch drinking I could have had, if I would have found it sooner. I just went and bought one of the last bottles of batch 39 barrel strength of 59.8% alcohol and I will treasure every last drop to the end of my life. My applause to great Scotch makers. A great Scotch to be sure and one I will keep on my counter for frequent revisits. Lovely great flavor one of my favorite highland drams.

Absolutely outstanding. #38 is very impressive. Clocking in at $94, its worth every penny.
