Whisky or Whiskey

What's in a name? Aberlour 1988 (Berry Bros. & Rudd) whisky is called whisky because it's produced in Scotland. Were it from America it would be spelled Aberlour 1988 (Berry Bros. & Rudd) whiskey, rather than whisky.

Aberlour 1988 Bottling Note

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Aromas of gentle fruits - sultanas, apples, pear and a little citrus, with just a hint of honey and soft cedar and oak.

Palate: Rich and fruity with notes of manuka honey, granary toast, black pepper and orange marmalade.

Finish: Slightly smoky with notes of mint chocolate (dark chocolate, mind), and oak.
