The nose is fresh and ripe with notes of rich fruit, marmalade, ground ginger, peels, a little winter spice and cocoa. The palate is round and smooth with notes of fresh, ripe fruits and peels. The finish is medium and very smooth.
Dissapointingly bland to be honest. In fairness it was my first ever try of cognac so maybe I just failed to appreciate it, is it a drink of subtle of nuances? Either way compared to the excellent whiskys and rums I have been trying of late this was dull and uninspiring, though, to give it some credit, pleasantly smooth.
I have tasted quality cognac from all over the world. In truth, his one for its price is delghtful.Smooth, quality taste and easy and pleasing on the palate, it has many of the nuances of supposed better quality cognacs. Very well done Remy Martin, take a bow.
Very smooth, warming and palletable. This is the second bottle I have had as a present. I love cognac this is the best Ive tasted so far. I like quality not quantity. This tatses like quality to me.
I like using this one when I make my Christmas fruit cake (starting next week) goes well with all the other fruit :)
