London Cocktail Society Bitters #1 5cl

These are the London Cocktail Society's very own bitters - developed with their members and Master of Malt through a bitters blending competition held at Shaker and Company in November 2011.

We gave a total of 14 blending teams our full range of Single Varietal bitters, and invited them to create the best cocktail bitters they could. The resulting samples were then judged by the LCS founding members, together with The Cocktail Lovers, and Master of Malt and the winner declared.

A final blending and tweaking session was held at Graphic Bar in Soho in late Movember to absolutely perfect the recipe and discuss for literally hours the exact text on the back label neck a load of cocktails.

The finished recipe is, in our humble opinion, absolutely superb. Packed full of flavour, with a good whack of bitterness courtesy of a sprinkling of Angelica.
