The 2016 vintage of Rosso dell'Abazia from Serafini & Vidotto is here! Made with a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot grapes and rested for 15 to 24 months in oak before bottling, and resting for a further year or two. This is a beautifully fruity Italian red wine with a good earthy depth – should go well with a nice charcuterie board.
Cherries and plums with soft zest and vanilla meet earthen suggestions of coffee, pepper spice, and dried herbs.
