This is a classic Rioja blend of tempranillo, garnacha, mazuelo and graciano grapes from one of the big names of the region, CVNE. It was aged in American oak casks before bottling and is now nicely mature. Try it with lamb kebabs or slow-cooked aubergine dishes. Oh and as you probably guessed, Sumiller is the same word as sommelier in French. So this is 'selection of the wine waiter' - can't argue with that.
Cooked strawberry, vanilla, coconut and tobacco. Rich and powerful with a long finish.
