Scapegrace

Scapegrace Gin was founded in 2014 in New Zealand by two brothers-in-law who bonded over how they both wanted to make their own gin. So, they decided to do just that. It’s distilled at the foothills of the New Zealand Southern Alps using a whisky still from the 19th century, stumbled upon in a long abandoned shed.

Originally, the gin was known as Rogue Society. However, in 2017 the gin hit the European market and due to a copyright issue with similarly named brewery offering, the brand was forced to come up with a new name for the EU market. Thus, Scapegrace Gin was born.
