Regent of Morton 2002 Bottling Note

A Bordeaux style blend from New Zealand, The Regent of Morton is made with Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. This 2002 vintage was named in honour of James Douglas, the Regent of Morton. He held this position during the reign of Mary Queen of Scots. He was beheaded in 1581 for his hand in the murder of Lord Damley (a King consort of Scotland).
