Red cherries and berry fruits form an intriguing nose with a slight herbal quality. The palate is a little savoury to begin with, followed by bigger red berry fruit flavours with velvety tannins. The finish is long and satisfying and marks this out as a great wine with fantastic depth and complexity.
Just sank a bottle a friend brought back from NZ.
It's a great pity she did not bring more back.
