Mother's Ruin Cabernet 09 Bottling Note

This McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon is made in an easy-drinking lunch style and named after the slang name for gin 'Mother's Ruin' which was drunk in vast quantities in the 1900s. The grapes were picked from vines over twenty years of age after a growing season of mixed blessings.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Cassis fruits, cedar wood and a little pepper on the nose, followed by black fruits and firm tannins on the palate with a hint of vanilla. The finish lingers with notes of warm spices.
