'11 Noble Pinot Gris
This Marlborough Pinot Gris (Pinot Grigio) is made from botrytised grapes. Botrytis is an infection which dehydrates grapes leaving behind the sugars and acids. This can ruin a harvest unless you wish to make a sweet wine such as this then it is a desirable quality. This delicious sweet wine has honeyed citrus notes and good acidity.

Honey and orange zest on the nose leading to a sweet palate with notes of apricots and tropical fruits. The acidity cuts through well which ensures the 160g of residual sugar isn't overpoweringly sweet. Delicious!
