'09 Ch. Ferreau Belair Bottling Note

Cotes de Bourg is a region of Bordeaux just beyond Margaux. The Ferreau Belair is made from a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes grown in the excellent 2009 vintage which are drinking younger than other Bordeaux vintages.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

The Merlot really dominates with red cherry and plum aromas with a little tobacco to boot. The palate is fresh and fruity with great acidity, minerality followed by a spice and red berry finish.
