'10 Galpin Peak Pinot Bottling Note
This South African Pinot Noir, from Bouchard Finlayson, is bottled from the excellent 2010 harvest. The winemaker was surprised at this as it has tended to be odd years that have been the best vintages over the last twenty years or so. This 2010 vintage has changed that!
Plummy fruits and wild berries on the nose with wood spice powering in on the palate. The tannins are even and the body light. A truly great vintage.
