From South Africa's Yardstick Wines comes another fabulous vintage in the Raised by Wolves series. This is the 2018 vintage 'La Colline' Semillon, made with grapes harvested from an old Franschhoek vineyard. The grapes are whole-bunch pressed and fermented in oak barrels to ferment and mature. The saline, mineral notes in here make it a good pairing with umami-forward dishes.
Hints of waxy citrus, underripe green apple and hints of saline minerality.
