A fabulous Rioja from Roda, this 2013 vintage Reserva is made with grapes from old vines, predominantly Tempranillo with just a smidge of Graciano. It spent 16 months in French oak, 50% of which was new, before it was bottled up full of red fruit and spices.
A dusting of cocoa and cinnamon, with lots of ripe plum and berry jam in support.
