Scotland
A light hued single malt from the Tobermory distillery on Mull. Ledaig represents peated single malt from the distillery.

Quite light and well-balanced. There is a certain freshness, pertained from notes of cut hay and straw, barley sugars and herbs, notes of cereals and melted salty butter on granary toast.
Medium-bodied with a richness. There are notes of gentle wood smoke and barley sugars, a farmy note with hints of hay and a roots with a touch of cereal sweetness and caramel.
Long and slightly herbal.
I'm not sure what to make of the nose, it's very salty, almost fishy hints. No sweetness at all and there comes the peat. Palate, certainly a touch raw, it's is certainly young but that disapates leaving behind a touch of sweetness previously nowhere to be seen, is there a hint of coriander there? It's actually very interesting certainly well worth 20 quid of anyone's money IMO.
bought a bottle for £18 too cheap to be true best place for this was down the drain what a joke for true whisky
I always try to give something different a try rather than sticking to my usual favourites and since I had been given a £10 voucher for a local supermarket I saw the risk as minimal. I put the remaining princely sum of £8 toward the bottle and have to say I would have happily paid the full £18. As a few have already said it's not the most complex dram but I have certainly tasted worse whisky and paid more for the pleasure.
Got a bottle in Morrisons without having heard of it. It is a young whisky and a bit raw in places but the overall smokey flavour and interesting nose means you keep coming back for another. As the above review says... a grower. DHP
When I first tasted it I was not keen, as it just had a starnge flavour to me. When I came back to it I started to enjoy it more and more. It is diferent but I would buy it again. Johnny Norfolk.
