Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Stetson Bourbon to you in United States at the moment. We're working on a solution, but until then, here are some alternatives:

Stetson Bourbon Bottling Note

Named for John B Stetson and originally launched for the German market, this bourbon honours the chap who invented a stalwart in my "top 7 hats" list, recently knocked off the number 3 spot by the classic "Homburg". Fact hunt: Stetson's hat was known as the "Boss of the Plains", thanks to its lightweight, all-weather design and durability. I was once known as the boss of the planes, but I was fired because no one likes a draconian air steward.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Creamy vanilla notes with zesty orange, cinnamon and cedar wood. A little sweet pipe tobacco, and just a touch of pear drop.

Palate: Creamy and thick with notes of must orange peel, cassia bark, tannic oak and crème caramel.

Finish: Long and spiced with notes of butterscotch and coffee beans.

Stetson Bourbon Reviews

Great to help diversify your pallet - Budget Bourbon

Just an amateur bourbon guy here, adding to my infinity Bourbon bottle, purchase.

To taste: I get, Sweet but honey as apposed to caramel, this was due to it being relatively sweet without the richness that caramel has. Only a small bite therefore relatively smooth. Citrus almost orange zesty flavour half way through (If sipped like hot coffee) then a good swallow enriches the flavour with a salivating oak wood finish. After a drop of water you get enhanced vanilla set.

To nose: I get candy sweetness, I can't put my finger on the spices I smell (I don't have a refined sense of smell).

Certainly one to trial, especially to get you into identifying different notes, without the sense of burning that a higher ABV/Proofed spirit would give you. All together well rounded & could definitely be purchased as a bargain bourbon under £30. No show stoppers, but no lasting memories either.

1 - Shite
2 - Potential but needs something else
3 - well rounded, sometimes confusing & needs refining
4 - simply memorable, not overplayed & a great lasting taste
5 - Perfection
