Joining the Old Particular collection from Douglas Laing, Rock Island's Finest is a six-year-old single malt that boasts the same coastal profile as the indie bottler's beloved Rock Island blended malt whisky. Distilled in March 2017, the whisky spent six years maturing in a single barrel, yielding a total of 421 bottles when it was opened in October 2023.
Peppery, peated and briny, then sweet and salty plus a hint of ash, with vanilla fudge and drifting smoke.
