    too medicinal for me

I looked forward to trying this after reading positive reviews but after opening and trying it neat I found it somewhat medicinal and overly bitter. To be fair I should try a few cocktails and mix it up but I don't hold high hopes it will be a regular in my bar nor would I want to mix only to pour down the sink. Best to chalk it up to experience and try something else.

    not for me

umm can't agree with other reviews, not quite up to it for my taste.

    Top drawer

This is an excellent product. Enough said.

Rich and delicious with a velvetty character. Best in special cocktails.

This is a little in the neighbourhood of Antica Formula, though not as viscous. It has a rich immediate taste and a long aftertaste. It has an amber-brown colour and very clearly further away from the wine it´s based on than say, Chazelettes, Dolin or Quintinye. You notice the slightly higher ABV along with the feeling you´re smelling it as much as tasting it. I´d use this for a ritzy Rob Roy matched to a decent blended whisky rather than drink it neat.

    Unique!

Such a unique taste. Amazing! Especially in my favorite drink, the Negroni.
