Villon is a French spiced liqueur. The recipe is a closely-guarded secret, as is often the way with these things. Can't have everyone knowing the recipe. It takes its name from a 15th century French poet François Villon. This would work brilliantly in all kinds of cocktails where you would normally use Cognac, like a Sidecar.
Sweet and grapey with notes of almond, butterscotch and toffee. Very rich and long.
