Averna

Amaro Averna is a tonic liqueur created in 19th century Italy and made with 33 herbs including cinnamon and gentian. Very citrussy, this is a lovely quaff!

Great value digestif that helps to settle that rather over indulged meal, but it also makes for a good aground liqueur.
This my favourite after dinner drink, beautiful taste and very moreish, and with Amazon doing amazing offers, I always have one in the cupboard. If only more UK restaurants stocked it,
A super cocktail ingredient, full flavoured. The Pura Vida shows it off. 40ml Mezcal 10ml Coffee Liqueur 15ml Amaro Averna 1 dash Orange Bitters Stir with ice, garnish with an orange twist, fits a Nick & Nora
The BEST after dinner digestif drink EVER!!! I’m trying to find it at a reasonable price in Israel and I am willing to buy a case if the price is right!
This is really nice. It's like nothing else really (well actually it's a bit reminiscent of good Pedro Ximénez sherry, but quite different too): bitter and sweet at the same time. Lovely. Diffords have a recipe called Negroni And The Goat: two parts gin, one part each of Aperol and Italian vermouth, half a part of this. Try it. Awesome :)
