You can probably guess who the Shakespeare Distillery was inspired by. Yes, former Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare. Hang on, we’re being told it’s actually some fella called William Shakespeare. Did a few poems and that, apparently. The craft distillery is located in Big Bill’s hometown of Stratford-upon-Avon, England, and was founded by Peter Monks and his wife, Nicola, in 2015. They combined a passion for the Immortal Bard and an expertise in distillation to create a range of handcrafted spirits, such as gin, rum, vodka, and liqueurs, each paying homage to his considerable literary legacy.
