Meet the Super Wish: Nikka Nine Decades
This week’s Super Wish is a time machine in a bottle.
Nikka combined over 50 batches of whisky spanning nine decades from the 1940s(!) to the 2020s, produced at the six Nikka distilleries. We’re talking the oldest reserve Japanese malt whisky from Yoichi and Miyagikyo. New grain whisky from Moji and Satsumatsukasa. A drop of Ben Nevis from Scotland, and even whisky from the now closed Nishinomiya distillery.
This whisky is making me feel old. And I’m a timeless supernatural being!
