
Top notch South African chenin blanc here, a country that has made this French grape it's speciality. This comes from unirrigated old vines. The wines were fermented in a variety of sizes of oak barrels before ageing for 14 months in oak barrels, 60% which were new. The result is an intensely flavoured mineral wine which would really suit all kinds of food but it's especially good with Thai and Vietnamese cuisine.
Richly flavoured with ripe tropical fruit, apricot and lime with an intense mineral acidity and subtle toasty and nutty notes.
