Soave in old school trattorias is usually an undemanding, some might say bland, sort of wine. But in the hands of Pieropan, it's one of the great wines of Italy with a richness and depth of flavour that makes it a great rival for white Burgundy. This is made from 85% garganega and 15% trebbiano di Soave. Try it with rich risotto dishes.
Apple, peach, pears, fresh but with a full body and a creamy almond note on the finish.
