The latest vintage of cult Super-Tuscan wine Orenellaia. This is made in Bolgheri on the Tuscan coast but it's planted with the grapes of Bordeaux: cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc and petit verdot. The result is one of the most sought-after wines. This 2017 comes with a label designed by Argentine artist Tomás Saraceno inspired by the heat of the vintage.
Rich nose of blackcurrants, vanilla, truffle and cloves. The palate is rich and concentrated with ripe fruit and firm ripe tannins. This will age for decades so if you're opening it now, then decant and serve with big food.
