Spain makes some brilliant budget wines. This one is made from tempranillo, the main grape of Rioja, and it's fun, full and fruity. It tastes excellent with all kinds of cooked tomato dishes, pizza and makes a brilliant base for Sangria etc.
Ripe strawberries and dark cherries with cloves, cinnamon and a little vanilla.
