It's coming home! It's coming home! Gewurztraminer is coming home! Not as catchy as Three Lions but arguably truer. You see the grape gewurztraminer, commonly associated with Alsace, is actually from Italy. Right at the north of the country from the town of Tramin where they speak German rather than Italian. Anyway, this is a lovely wine that would be particularly nice with smelly cheeses and Thai food, but not at the same time.
