
The second release of The Cheshire English single malt from Weetwood Brewery & Distillery also uses English malted barley, and this time round, the whisky has been matured in STR American oak quarter casks before a finish in European oak barrels. A release of 2,170 bottles, without added colour or chill filtration.
Fresh cut hay, apple skins, floral honey, and some cinnamon spice.
Milky tea and biscuits lead on to dried apricots, with woody spice.
Fruity and sweet.
