The Cheshire English Single Malt - First Release
From Weetwood Brewery & Distillery comes its inaugural whisky release. The Cheshire is an English single malt made using English malted barley. Matured in STR American oak and finished in European oak, this has been bottled at 46% and is brimming with fruit notes, and gentle spice. A whisky that shows promising signs of things to come from the distillery.
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Apple pastries, with some crumbly fudge, apricot compote, and gentle heather honey.
Palate
Plums and fresh apple, with toasted grain, and oaky spice.
Finish
Subtle toasted oak, with spiced apple compote.
