As the name suggests, The Macallan treated these Double Cask whiskies to not just one, but two cask types for their maturations! Oloroso sherry was used to season a combination of both American and European oak casks, with the former imparting vanilla nuances while the latter brings that hallmark Macallan spice. Three 70cl bottles of celebrated single malt increasing in age from 12 years old, to 15 years old, to a venerable 18 years spent in oak casks.
