Suntory have been producing fantastic Japanese whisky since the 1920s, although the company was founded before that. In celebration of their 60th anniversary, they created the Suntory Royal blended whisky in 1960. This bottling comes from the 1960s.

This is an amazing drop of stuff Typical Japanese with its apple/sandalwood finish but with so much more going on. Floral soft fruits stewed plums butterscotch. Delicious

I was given a bottle of this whiskey by my brother a while back for my collection of whiskeys. I didn't realize it was so rare. It sits unopened on my bar.
To our delight, my father has a bottle of this fine old whiskey that he received as a gift back in the 1970's. The label is in perfect condition . We were wondering about the value of this item.
