Distilled at Strathmill in 2006, this single malt was filled into a single oloroso hogshead, where it remained for the next 15 years. In 2022, the cask was opened by independent bottler North Star Spirits, releasing a total of 245 bottles of this splendidly sherried Speysider.
Silky soft stone fruits and floral honey lead to dried prunes, sultanas and a touch of tobacco.
Chocolatey malt opens the way with heaps of caramel, apricots, and dates, with creamy barley and vanilla pastries.
Chocolate hazelnuts, milky coffee, a hint of chai tea and cracked pepper.
