
Starward's Dolce single malt Australian whisky is particularly interesting (and decidedly delicious), as it was initially aged in Australian red wine casks, before being moved over to casks that held an Australian dessert wine! The dessert wine was made in the style of a well-known Sicilian dessert wine, and the casks have imparted a heaping helping of marshmallow and intense dried fruit notes.

Dates, strawberry bonbons, cola cubes, orange peel, caramel, more marshmallow.
Simmering spices and cherry toffees.
