The folks at Darkness headed to Italy to seek out this blended malt whisky from Puni! The whisky spent four years maturing, including the classic Darkness treatment of a stay in one of its tiny custom-made octave casks. That cask previously held oloroso sherry, and you'll find heaps of red fruit, citrus, and chocolate alongside the biscuity malt at the core of this impressive blend.
Tangy notes of dried cranberries and redcurrants, Caramac bars and oaken vanilla.
Chocolate-dipped orange wheels, robust malt, and toasted vanilla with a softly waxy texture.
Toasted coconut flakes, bittersweet red berries, slatey minerality and charred oak.
